Outdoor Rental Attendant

Seeking enthusiastic candidates to assist customers with rental equipment such as kayaks, paddle boards, pedal boats, bikes and camping equipment. The ideal candidate is dependable, punctual and has great customer service skills. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. to place on dollies. Duties include, but aren’t limited to opening/closing rental facility; assisting customers staging equipment; cleaning, maintaining and storing equipment. This is a part-time position (about 20 hrs. a week) with flexible hours. Facility is open 9 am – 6 pm daily. $10/hr.

Job Description

Preferred Qualification:

  • Graduation from or currently attending an accredited college or university with an Associate’s Degree in computer science or related field. OR
  • Two (2) years of basic Help Desk support experience.

Requirements:

Possession of an appropriate driver license for equipment operation

Knowledge

  • Knowledge of computer processing operations, procedures, and equipment.
  • Knowledge of problem-solving techniques.
  • Knowledge of computers and software.
  • Knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques of computer programming and/or computer systems analysis.
  • Ability to process information logically and solve problems.
  • Ability to develop training programs related to users’ operations and procedures.
  • Ability to monitor and resolve problems with computer system components.
  • Ability to identify and define user task needs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.

Mental and Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to hold or feel, reach with hands and arms, walk, talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, and crouch. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and depth perception.

The employee regularly lifts and/or moves up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 45 pounds.

Work is done remotely and on site; Monday – Friday 1st Shift; $10/hr.

Outdoor Camp Counselor

Outdoor Camp Counselors needed to begin in March and work various times through the end of the summer. Outdoor adventures ranging from archery, fishing and paddle sports, as well as wildlife survival training and more. Must have experience working with children ages 5-14 and be comfortable in the Florida Summer heat. Experienced swimmer is preferred. Must be 18 years old.  Schedules vary; $10/hr.

  • Tag and track warranty parts
  • Clear communication with Service Manager/staff and customers
  • Box/ship and scrap warranty parts as required

  • Explain warranty coverage to customers
